Luling VFD is on standby to assist for Tropical Storm Barry

Effective July 12th at 6:00 P.M. Volunteer and Paid members of the Luling VFD or on duty at Station 21, Paul Maillard Road, Luling and St. Anthony Street, Luling to respond as needed due to Tropical Storm Barry. Ama Station is being covered by members that live close to the station.

Parish Wide Proposition 4, Fire Service Tax Renewal

Every 10 years the St. Charles Parish Fire Services must ask voters to renew a tax millage that is used by the nine volunteer fire departments for maintenance and operation expenses in providing fire service to the parish. The funds collected from a 1/8 cent sales tax and millage is about 1.8 m annually. These funds are divided amongst the nine volunteer fire departments based on the amount of structures ... Luling Volunteer Fire Department receives new apparatus!

The members of the Luling VFD are very excited and proud to place into service two (2) new engines that will be located at the Luling VFD Central Station, 1603 Paul Maillard Road and Station 22 located at 67 St. Anthony Street.
