Always helping our community….
Tonight Luling VFD participated in the Rotary Club of St Charles’ annual Christmas Tree Lighting, caroling, and of course Santa Claus.
While the reindeer are resting up for their Christmas flight, Santa needed a ride. LVFD to the rescue !
Santa arrived by fire truck to meet and greet the kids and our firefighters got him back safe and sound to the North Pole.

Despite the damp cold temperatures and steady rain, the St. Charles Parish Technical Rescue Team, with the assistance of neighboring fire department personnel, showed true dedication during today’s rope rescue training.

PSA Christmas Tree Safety

PSA It’s Christmas Tree time. The tree used for today’s demonstration was Fresh cut this week. The videos today were less than a minute. If I fire can spread this quick on a fresh cut tree imagine how quick it will spread on a tree that is dry and has been cut for a while. Also if you listen you will hear the repeated beeps of a smoke detector. Note how quick the detector goes off after the tree ... (Full Story & Photos)
