Despite the damp cold temperatures and steady rain, the St. Charles Parish Technical Rescue Team, with the assistance of neighboring fire department personnel, showed true dedication during today’s rope rescue training.

Our firefighters trained despite the less-than-ideal weather to sharpen their high-angle rescue skills and ensure they’re ready to respond when lives are on the line — rain or shine. From rigging systems to ascending, the team trained with professionalism and teamwork.

This commitment to training, no matter the conditions, is what keeps our community safe and our crews prepared.
