June 30, 2025 - Multi Department - Monday's Training focused on vehicle extrication . Attendees were divided into two groups. Group One focused on extrication tools and included hands on training of tool operation, placement for extrication, and techniques. Group two participated in a live scenario which included arriving on the scene of an auto accident which included a vehicle on it's side with injured occupants requiring extrication. We extend our thanks to Hahnville Volunteer Fire Department and St. Charles Parish EMS for their participation. While training is critical, joint training is invaluable.
