Luling VFD Chief, Barry Minnich, and Training Chief, Stephen Stromeyer attended the Louisiana Fire Safety Summit, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The one day event included a vendor showcase, NFPA Updates, Louisiana’s Wildlife Threat, Mental Health for First Responders, and Youth Firesetters.

The Louisiana State Fire Marshall’s Office, in partnership with the NFPA, hosted the event to provide information, tools, and resources to implement fire safety programs in the community.
