A few weeks ago Luling VFD visited the 911 center for training. This Monday, 10/20, Luling VFD and Hahnville VFD had a visit from St. Charles EMS. A presentation was given on airways by EMS Director Huey Marcel, followed by a tour of one of St. Charles EMS' ambulance. While this training may not seem like much to some, it is a critical part of training. Training with multiple agencies allows agencies to work together smoothly on scene and provide efficient assistance to each other.

NOTE: There were no firefighters injured. Firefighters were learning how to unload the stretcher, load a patient, and load the stretcher into the ambulance.
